John Sherman
John Sherman graduated LHS class of 2023. His career as a wolverine was very decorated ending with PR's in the 100m (10.3) and in the 200m (20.8). The MTSU signee has made an immediate impact for the blue raiders!
Zion Griffin
Class of 2023's, Zion Griffin's short 1 year track and field career at LHS was nothing short of amazing. In his first year ever running track, Zion became one of the fastest sprinters on our team and first leg on two relays which finished the season 3rd 4x1 and 8th 4x2 in the state championship.
Alex Young
Former class of 2012 La Vergne track and field standout and state champion, Alex Young, qualified for the Tokyo Olympics in the hammer throw. Finishing third, Young threw the hammer 256 feet, 11 inches on his sixth attempt setting a new personal best.
